Make Believe: All Hallows’ Eve

Cindy Sherman meets Diane Arbus meets Alfred Hitchcock…meet my girlfriend

Halloween night, before the trick or treaters rang our bell, and before the sun had set, a fog rose up from the green field across the street from our house. I arrived home and walked in to find my darling (thespian that she is) all dressed up, carving knife in hand, struggling with two enormous pumpkins. Instead of running in fear, my heart surged and I grabbed my camera, and my sweet fiend’s hand heading out into the dusk to shoot. Using the last amount of light available, I shot my honey as she called upon her inner demons while a character emerged from her costume, the charged atmosphere and the ghouls just beginning to teem through our neighborhood streets hoping for a fright–but they thought that they were going to scare us.

Hi Stephanie, thank you for the comment. It’s soooo nice to hear from you. I just sent you a friend request on your FB page, so you better accept. HA.
Did you see the rest of my website? Please keep an eye on it…and show your family, too. I’ll be adding new stuff to both the galleries and to the blog, hopefully more and more frequently. But spread it around to your friends, for I do it to everyone in my everyday marketing life.
I hope everything is great with you. Let’s stay in touch, I promise I will now. Love. G.
